PayJuntion is leading their industry in green technology!




PayJunction is a financial software company that was founded in 2000 by UCSB Computer Science graduates. Over the years they have grown into the leading developer of paperless payment software, enabling businesses to process and secure transactions in real-time from anywhere in the world! And they are environmentally friendly too; they’ve developed the first environmentally friendly product in the industry that will eliminate the need of paper receipts that will in turn reduce the carbon footprint of an entire industry!

It gets even better! PayJuntion located in downtown Santa Barbara and have both part-time and full-time positions for students. This means that you could work for them while going to school. This is not an unpaid internship but rather a part-time position where you will learn practical and relevant skills while getting paid and the best part is that they will work around your class schedule. We are pleased to introduce to you our newest Career Partner at UCSB, Young’s Market Company. Young’s Market Company is a leader in the wholesale and distribution of wine, spirits and selected beverages. Founded in 1888, it is one the oldest continuously operating companies in the United States. Today they are the fourth largest wine and spirits distributor in the U.S. and now they will be recruiting at UCSB!

Young’s Market offers many employment opportunities but the main position that they will be recruiting for will be that of Sales Rep Merchandiser. A Sales Rep Merchandiser will be responsible for maximizing the sale of supplier brands to retail chain customers. So what this basically means is that you will work with pre-established customers, retail chains, to ensure that the wine and spirits from Young’s Market Company are accurately displayed and marketed to customers that will shop at these stores. Young’s Market is looking for students from any major who possess strong communication and problem solving skills. Because you will be constantly communicating with store managers, communication skills are critical. The Sales Rep Merchandiser position is a full-time salary position with the opportunity to make many bonuses! This isn’t a typical 8am-5pm job where you sit behind a desk. At Young’s Market every day is different and exciting and you rarely will have to go into an office environment. So if you want to work with cool products, have a full-time job that won’t require you to work in an office environment, and possess excellent communication skills, then Young’s Market should be a company that you consider.
